Privacy notice

This is the Futuremedia WhatsApp integration training demo, prepared by Facilit8. It is used with invited test participants to demonstrate direct WhatsApp Cloud API integration.

What the demo stores

When you send a WhatsApp message to the connected demo number, the system receives your WhatsApp number, the profile name supplied by WhatsApp, message content and metadata. It also receives delivery/read/failure events. Operator-uploaded demonstration files are stored privately. The simulator runs in your browser memory and does not send messages to WhatsApp.

Where the data goes

Meta processes WhatsApp messages. Cloudflare Workers runs our API, D1 stores messages and signed webhook events, and R2 stores files uploaded to the demo. Access tokens and private keys are held as Worker secrets and are not exposed in the browser. Cloudflare may process infrastructure request logs under its own service settings.

Purpose and retention

Data is used to operate, test and explain this integration. Application messages, webhook history, audit entries and uploaded files are scheduled for deletion after 14 days, with cleanup running every five minutes. Opt-out preferences remain until the participant requests deletion, so the system can continue to honour STOP. Infrastructure logs follow the Cloudflare account’s configured retention. Do not submit sensitive personal information during training.
